Subject Live Cattle Odd Month Futures Contracts - Effective Monday, March 10, 2003.

On Monday, March 10, 2003, odd month futures contracts will be added to the existing Live Cattle futures contracts.

 

The odd month contracts will be listed approximately 120 days prior to expiration on the first business day of the calendar month,  that is, three months prior to the named serial contract month.  Using this listing cycle, there will be two odd (serial) futures contracts listed at all times (see table below).  The options and current serial options will remain unchanged, and the delivery periods will not overlap. 

 

The first new contract months to be listed on Monday, March 10, 2003, will be May and July.
